For sale in our St. Louis showroom is an all steel xxxx Ford Slantback. Painted in a gorgeous Black Emerald with a grey and brown two tone interior. This '37 is powered by a mild 350 small block Chevy backed by a TH-350 automatic transmission. The '37 Ford street rod was built to cruise and looks great doing it! The paint will look black in certain angles and others, Black Emerald. Truly beautiful! The car rides on a one off set of Budnick aluminum wheels wrapped in new BF Goodrich Radial T/As. 10 years ago the car underwent a complete professional frame off restoration and just this past summer it received a new updated interior with a distressed leather look similar to the King Ranch Ford F-series. During the interior work, the car was outfitted with sound deadening insulation for a nice and quiet ride. Some other notable interior features include power windows, AM/FM radio with CD, Vintage Heat and Air Conditioning, seatbelts and a tilt steering column with a LeCarra leather wrapped steering wheel. The top has a 2" chop for that classic street rod look. The headlights and taillights have both been frenched in for a clean look. Adding to that clean smooth look are hidden poppers for the doors and trunk along with a hidden release for the hood. Once you pop the hood, you'll notice and nice and tidy engine bay that isn't cluttered by any means. The 350 small block Chevy has a mild cam for a healthy exhaust note, an aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold and an Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor. Ceramic coated headers and polished aluminum air cleaner and valve covers finish off the clean look. Walk around back and take a look at those one off hand fabricated exhaust tips made out of stainless steel. Pop the trunk and you'll see that the interior touches are carried over into the trunk compartment for a nice finished look. In the trunk is an amplifier for the sound system and a bra for the front end. Speaking of the front end, the front suspension has a rack and pinion Mustang II unit that is part of the Heidts front end unit. This includes power steering, upper and lower control arms and a front sway bar. This gives you a much improved ride over what was original.
