This gorgeous Eldorado is painted in a color combination of Mandan Red over a red and white leather interior with a white power top. xxxx was the third year for the Eldorado and only accounted for 4% of all Cadillacs sold. '56 was also the last year of the second generation Eldorado and was accompanied by the Eldorado Seville which was a 2 door hardtop version of the big convertible, also reason to give the Eldorado the name "Biarritz." Speaking of a big convertible, this puppy weighs in at over 5,000 lbs, thanks to good old American steel! Powering this Eldorado is the original drivetrain consisting of a smooth running 365 cubic inch V8 with two 4 bbl carbs hiding beneath the batwing air cleaner making 305 horsepower and 400 lbs/ft of torque.
