Highly optioned vehicles with V8 engines, power steering, power brakes, and even air conditioning were becoming more and more common. Ford's mid-50s lineup featured many body styles from 4 doors, to 2 doors, to pillar less hardtops, and even some rare power metal roof convertibles. This particular '56 is a gorgeous Victoria 2 door hard top. From the "egg crate" front grill to the continental kit in the back, this car is oozing with style. The car is finished in a beautiful two tone blue and white which looks great against the chrome and stainless trim. Period correct add-ons have been made to dress it up even more, such as side pipes, spot light, and fender skirts. Even the continental kit has been dressed up with custom pin striping and a portrait of "Miss Vicki." Inside you'll find a factory dashboard in great shape and some of the coolest seat upholstery you'll find. The seats and door panels feature a unique grid pattern in blue and white to match the exterior. Under the hood you'll find the optional Y-Block 272 CID V8 with a 2 barrel carburetor which was rated at 162 horsepower. The engine is backed by a 3 speed manual transmission which is shifted on the column. This Victoria is really a gem and is ready for shows, cruises, and the open road.
